    Parents: Jens Mortensen and Ane Marie Alexandersen.

    Died: August 11, 1940 in Los Angeles, California. Buried at Inglewood Park Cemetery in Los Angeles.

    Married: Marie Thomsen in 1899. (She was a sister of Rev. N. P. N. Lang's wife, Kirstine Marion Thomsen.)

    Ordained: June 6, 1899 in Hutchinson, Minnesota by Rev. G.B. Christiansen.

    Came to America in June 1891.

    Studied at the Danish Lutheran College in Elk Horn, Iowa.

    Studied at Luther Theological Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
